At least I'll be free of static cling

So, most people have the problem where the dryer eats their socks. I, however, have been having the problem of finding used dryer sheets everywhere in my room. I can only assume that these escape when I bring my laundry in to fold it; somehow they fall down and then find their way to various corners of my room. Look; there's one wedged under my dresser, and there's one halfway under my bed. Oh, found another one in the sock drawer, and oh wow...how did one find its way into a shoebox?

My only thinking is that perhaps the gnomes who steal socks are playing some sort of joke on me...
